This is the second time I've ordered this model... it's the best. Thick, warm, and covers very well... recommended for winter. For cycling, motorcycling, or to show off to a cashier or whatever you want.
Excellent balaclava! Soft fleece inside. Fits comfortably on the head. A particularly clever design feature: the side panels are not sewn on but are movable - you can fully open your face by sliding down part of the mask.
Works great thin enough for warm weather fits great with motorcycle helmet.
Here, a close-up photo specifically for the review. The mask is good, doesn't press anywhere, easy to breathe, protects perfectly in cold weather - 18 degrees with wind. It has a long sleeve (if you tumble down a slope, the snow won't fall down your neck, it protects you). Someone with a large head, who is female and has a lot of hair, will also find it perfect: the hair is securely hidden and doesn't stick out where it shouldn't, the straps are in place (I have a size 60+ head and a lot of hair, everything fits perfectly). Only 2 comments:
1) It's better to spend a little more time to put it on properly and symmetrically, so that the eye opening is not angled and the nose is neatly hidden; rather than having to adjust it while riding; once it's on properly, it won't slip off.
2) Breathing is easy, yes, but the whole mask gets covered with frost, it's noticeable in the photo; however, it's light frost, there won't be any icy crusts on the face.
In short, it's a good thing.
